After I left for my monthly Bunco outing with my neighbors on Friday night Kathryn asked Nate why she couldn't go. He told her it was too late and it would be bedtime soon. She responded, "Next time, I hope they plan it for when I'm available."
I asked Juliana if she was feeling okay today because she was laying down in the shopping cart. She said, "Yes, my heart is beeping." I said, "It's beating?" She said, "Yes, it's beeping. That means I'm still alive." Indeed.
Alexander's new word is "Hi!" His vocabulary is rapidly expanding and he often imitates me when I'm on the phone; one of his favorite phrases: "Blah, blah, blah." We feel it's important to encourage our children's mastery of the English language at a young age. ;)
