Honesty: Is it really the best policy?

A couple weeks ago, I spent a lot of time preparing a new flower bed around our mailbox. After tilling the clay "soil", adding garden soil, planting petunias and mulching the bed, I came in and sat on the couch for a much needed rest. Juliana snuggled up next to me, put her head in my lap and said, "Mommy, you smell like poop."
