This reminds me of the time I was sick and out of it and fell asleep for a few minutes on the couch, then woke up to find my 15 month old sitting on the kitchen floor with boxes of cereal spilled around her, munching away happily. It was noon. Poor child must have been hungry.
At least I can rest easy that she can fend for herself if I'm suddenly abducted by aliens (or run away to start a new life in California).
